The Emirates Hills Annex project is a complete ground-up transformation—conceived, designed, furnished, and delivered as a single, cohesive vision.
Rather than treating the annex as a secondary structure, our approach was to elevate it into a fully resolved living environment, one that feels intentional, architectural, and seamlessly connected to its surrounding landscape. Every decision was guided by proportion, material integrity, and the relationship between interior and exterior spaces.
Architecturally, the design emphasizes clarity and restraint. Clean lines, large-format glazing, and carefully framed views allow the garden and pool to become an extension of the interior. Day and night conditions were equally considered, with layered lighting designed to enhance depth, warmth, and atmosphere after sunset.
The interior language is calm yet expressive. A restrained neutral palette forms the backdrop, layered with tactile surfaces, sculptural furniture, and curated objects that add character without visual noise. Rather than relying on ornament, the space derives its richness from texture, scale, and contrast—soft upholstery against stone surfaces, matte finishes against reflective glazing, and strong sculptural moments balanced by quiet negative space.
Furnishing and styling were developed as an integral part of the architecture, not an afterthought. Each piece was selected for its form, materiality, and contribution to the overall composition, resulting in a space that feels both elevated and comfortably inhabitable.
Beyond design, True Build oversaw the project’s execution from start to finish—coordinating consultants, supervising site works, and ensuring that every detail was delivered in line with the original intent. This close involvement allowed for precision in execution and consistency across architecture, interiors, and final styling.
The completed annex is a refined, self-contained retreat—calm, architectural, and confident in its simplicity. A project defined not by excess, but by control, restraint, and clarity of vision.
